Miss Cole's Tea Time: Teapigs

Readers, we are not having tea bags today, we are having tea temples. Biodegradable tea temples. Hooray for environmentally friendly tea!

I really like Teapigs everyday brew. It's a good pick me up tea in the middle of the day as it has a good, strong taste. Which is exactly the kind of tea I'm going to need after I ripped over 20 pages out of my manuscript yesterday. It had to be done, but it's always daunting when you do stuff like that, so I am, of course, seeking support from tea ;)

Now, as we are having tea temples, you should know that part of the reason the tea tastes so strong is because the leaves within the bags are big. Part of Teapigs' appeal is the size of the leaves in the bag, so it's a good tea to have if you want the fullness of leaves without buying all the necessary extras for loose leaf tea. It therefore can be easy to over-brew, so I'd say three to four minutes should do the trick.

And yes, they will deliver tea internationally, hooray! :D

  1. Looovee Teapigs tea, though they're a little pricey so I tend to only get them as a treat. Their Creme Caramel Rooibos is the closest to a "caramel" tea I've ever tried (though even then it's quite faint -- it seems to be the hardest flavoured tea to get right!).

    1. Yes, they're definitely a treat, but well worth it once in a while :)

  2. Whew! 20 pages? I'm betting it will be for the best though. Thankfully in this digital age, it's not a big deal to toss out that much of a story because if you find you are desperately missing it, you still have the remnants and can utilize it for a short story or even stuff it back in later. =)

    1. Yes! I can't imagine how tricky this sort of editing would've been in the era of typewriters.

  3. This is great to know! Sounds fantastic! We have recently gotten into loose leaf teas, but sometimes you just need something in a teabag. This would be great for those times.

    1. It definitely would be. The leaves are a very decent size and make a delicious cup of tea ^_^
