Sunday Inspiration - Chariots of Fire

Tomorrow I'm off to see the Olympic torch as it passes through my hometown.  And because of that, I'm posting the most Olympicy piece of music ever written...

...Chariots of Fire.

Please feel free to engage in slow motion triumphant running through your homes as this plays.

How very British - a grey day on the beach :P

  2. Speaking of Olympic music, have you heard Muse's new song, which is the theme song of the London Games? It's called Survive, or something along those lines. It's very Muse--epic, progressive, and experimental. And it sounds like Queen!
Anyhow, have fun tomorrow! The torch passed through my town when I was in high school, but I didn't see it. Not sure why, considering our former fire chief got to carry it, but oh well.

    1. I've heard bits of it, but I need to listen to the whole thing.

It's absolutely chucking it down with rain, but it has been for most of the relay and the torch never went out ;)

    2. I swear, those torches must be magic. "Absolutely chucking it down with rain"--what a delightfully British way to say that! You're adorable!
