Sunday Inspiration - FIGHT!

Need some fight scene inspiration? Allow me to share more of Monty Oum's Dead Fantasy series, because it's freaking awesome.

Looooooove it!

How about all of you? Have a favourite fight scene you always love to use for inspiration?

  1. My favourite fight scene is River's in Serenity. It's the choreography of it and how deadly she suddenly turns that I love. A fight like that wouldn't be so smooth in real life but it's great for getting ideas on what your character can use to fight with or being inspired by any movements she does.

  2. Oooh, very cool. I've fond of the Advent Children movie fight scenes, especially put together in this AMV:

  4. Wow, what a crazy scene. Right now I'm not writing about any kind of magical fantasy, so I'm keeping it pretty real. I like to look at movies with medieval-type battle scenes in them to get ideas for my fight scenes. Lord of the Rings works, or Braveheart, or Robin Hood. I also watch a lot of History/ Discovery Channel shows that deal with weaponry. I love writing a good fight scene. :)

    1. I'm a big fan of mad fights XD

Lots of swords clashing and arrows flying in your story, huh? Oooh, please say you've got a few maces swinging around too :D

  5. Ooh, people have good suggestions! I also love River's fight scene, and it's hard to top LOTR for multi-layered battle. I also like some of the fight scenes in Kingdom of Heaven.
